Pilot Eligibility

The Spexi network enables drone pilots from diverse backgrounds and skill levels to contribute and FLY TO EARN due to the simplicity and standardized nature of the network. As long as you are legally allowed to fly in your region, and you own a compatible drone + device, then you can contribute and FLY TO EARN.

However, in order to get the best experience flying with Spexi, we recommend having at least 10 automated drone flights under your belt first, and taking all of our Pilot Onboarding training material.

Depending on the pilot's country of residence, they may be required to have a pilot certificate and register their drone with their local aviation regulator.

Canada Operations 🇨🇦

Pilots flying drones which weigh less than 250g at the time of takeoff do not require a drone pilot certificate to operate. However, all pilots are required to conduct safe and responsible operations at all times.

Pilots flying drones for commercial purposes (regardless of weight) are required to hold a Part-107 drone pilot license and register their drone with the FAA.
